Comprehensive ADHD Screening + Beyond the Visible
Ā
Three Courses. A Broader Understanding of ADHD, Assessment & Lived Experience.
ADHD screening involves more than identifying symptoms. It requires understanding developmental history, functional impact, co-occurring conditions, and the many ways neurodevelopmental differences may influence everyday life.
This comprehensive professional education bundle combines Comprehensive ADHD Screening: Transcending the Biopsychosocial InterviewĀ with Beyond the Visible: Women, Sex & ADHD, bringing together three complementary courses in one enrollment.
Participants explore structured ADHD screening alongside less visible presentations in women and the complex relationships between ADHD, sexuality, sensory experiences, desire, and intimacy.
Through recorded lectures, research readings, case-based learning, and downloadable resources, the bundle provides opportunities to deepen professional understanding and apply learning within existing qualifications and scope of practice.
What's Included
1. Comprehensive ADHD Screening: Transcending the Biopsychosocial Interview
A structured, research-informed approach to ADHD screening that extends beyond the traditional biopsychosocial interview.
Topics include developmental history, structured interviewing, standardized rating scales, differential diagnosis, integrating findings, report writing, and communicating results.
2. Women and the Invisible ADHD Profile
Explore why ADHD has historically been overlooked in girls and women, particularly when difficulties are obscured by compensatory strategies, professional achievement, and outwardly successful functioning.
Topics include masking, emotional overcontrol, developmental patterns, hormonal influences, changing life demands, and differential considerations.
3. Sex and ADHD: Sensory Experiences, Desire & Relationships
Explore how ADHD-related characteristics may interact with sexual wellbeing, including attention, interoception, sensory experiences, rejection sensitivity, sexual desire, and relationship compatibility.
The course also addresses communication, consent, individual preferences, professional boundaries, and appropriate referrals.
Courses 2 and 3 are also available together as Beyond the Visible: Women, Sex & ADHD.
